“I am a Hackney-based illustrator but my heart belongs to Hereford, city of my Fathers. My first love was cartoons, my second was my commodore 64 and my third Iron Maiden, this has informed all the artwork I’ve ever done. I started off doing flyers for punk shows in Hereford in the late 90s. We used to paste them up in bus stops and subways at night. I still do flyers and posters as well as magazine illustration, record covers and t-shirt design. I am inspired by paintings on fairground rides, ice cream vans, poundshop toys and space raiders.”
This gig poster was created for an event organized by Hackney Working Girls Club held at Shoreditch’s famouse Old Blue Last venue. It is one of a kind, timeless, full of that old 90′s grunge scene punch. A veritable collectible print, limited in edition size.
