Product Description
Jon Burgerman is a multidisciplinarian carefully constructing a world in which the narrative of being an artist is played out across a wide variety of media for the distraction, enlightenment and delight of those who choose to tune in.
. When not cooing over nature’s fluffy defecating creations he likes doodling. His doodles have adorned t-shirts, snowboards, magazine covers, books, toys, computer games and airplane sick-bags. Working freelance enables him to snooze through most of the day; he is at heart a very lazy person.
With a limited palette of bright colors and dark outlines, Burgerman’s fun and playful characters come alive in this print. What is really incredible about this piece is the amount of detail; small decorative lines and a variety of doodles force the viewer to look at it closely. A wonderful purchase and a certain investment potential piece.
Described as one of England’s most revered cartoonists, Burgerman designed 6 characters for Southbank Center’s Children Festival this February.
